Insured Portal SMS Messaging Terms & Conditions

By enrolling for the American Transit Insurance Company Insured Portal (“the Portal”), you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. These terms and conditions are subject to change and you agree to be bound by any changes that may be made to these terms and conditions.

• Participation is required to enroll for the Portal.
• You authorize American Transit Insurance Company to send SMS messages to the mobile phone number you provided on the registration page for the Portal.
• You agree to have provided a functioning mobile phone number that is capable of receiving SMS messages within the United States of America.
• The mobile phone number you provided must be able to send and receive SMS messages.
• SMS messages are subject to standard rates as per the terms of your mobile phone plan. Message and data rates may apply.
• Message frequency from American Transit Insurance Company will vary depending on the use-case.
• SMS messages from the Portal will be sent from the phone number (212) 857-8296.
• You authorize American Transit Insurance Company to send SMS messages for reasons including, but not limited to, multi-factor authentication, marketing campaigns, update notices, and password reset for your Portal account.
• You agree to receive one-time passcodes through SMS messaging for use with the log in procedure to the Portal.
• You agree to receive a SMS message for resetting your password to your Portal account when you begin the procedure to reset your account password through the Mobile Number option.
• You may receive marketing campaigns via SMS messages; these are subscription-based campaigns and you can text STOP to (212) 857-8296 to stop receiving these messages.
• If you have any questions, text HELP to (212) 857-8296 to receive a SMS message containing information on how to request assistance.
• The SMS messages sent between American Transit Insurance Company and yourself through this service may be monitored and recorded; you consent to the monitoring and recording of these messages.
• You are responsible for proper handling of the SMS messages that you may receive through this service; this SMS messaging service is for your personal use only.
• American Transit Insurance Company is not liable for any damages or losses that may arise from the usage of this service.
• The SMS message service terms and conditions are effective immediately following your registration to the Portal.
